Dubai-based Metal band Nervecell have raised the bar in 2009 and are confident to achieve more in the year to come. With a new record deal in Europe, sights on a new album release and their fourth tour in March, their future is looking bright. 

Band wraps up successful 2009 in Sri Lanka

Nervecell’s hectic show schedule concluded on Monday, December 21st on their return from Sri Lanka, following a successful year of touring in 17 cities in 8 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.   
The band played a total of 23 shows in 2009 (only 5 took place in their hometown, Dubai), of which consists 7 headline spots.        
11 or nearly half of these performances were part of music festivals, including renowned and largely popular Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park, Wacken Open Air’s 20th anniversary, With Full Force, Desert Rock Festival.. to name a few! 
They were on the road twice this year as part of 2 European tours organized by their management CSM (Center Stage Management), which led them to striking a record deal with Lifeforce Records Germany, where the album Preaching Venom was officially released on October 26th. 

Plans for 2010

Nervecell’s high ambition drive is keeping them busy for the year to come. The new year is kicking off with their official merchandise stores store.nervecell.net recently online using secured payment method PayPal, and Souq.com to come in the next few weeks.
4 different types of t-shirts are available as well as the band’s albums, for worldwide delivery.With a tour already confirmed with US metal legends Suffocation, entitled Legacy of Blood European Tour, in March 2010, Nervecell announced on their website : “It's a great honor for us to tour with them, as they have been a major musical influence on every member of Nervecell. (…) to go on the road with them is just mind-blowing for us! The band is proud to be the first from the Middle East to tour alongside one of the forefathers of the death metal scene.”
